Nov 14, 2019 · I love your enthusiasm. I crochet every day. For the past 50 years and now I crochet for homeless shelters. One thing to make and my friends appreciate are headbands or earwarmers. Anything yarn left over from scarves I make into headbands. The shelters appreciate them. Keep at it.

Easter’s coming and I’ve been covering plastic eggs with my left over yarn. Same with Christmas orgnaments or other balls you can find. Cover rocks with an open work motif for a paperweight

Dec 20, 2014 · Once it was done, I hid the yarn ends with a crochet hook, and made 4 tassels from the yarn ends to embellish the corners. My knit tip here: hold on to all the small bits of yarn that might be left over while knitting. You might need them later. I think the tassels are a nice touch to add to the blanket.
